SUGGESTED MINIMUM NUMBER OF HOURS OF TUITION
PER COURSE
Please Note: These are approximations only as the length will depend in part on the academic ability
of students, whether they are full or part-time, facilities available etc.
The following is a list of courses Excluding our Professional certification programs provided by the
Chartered Institute of Finance and Management (CIFMA) and the minimum hours of tuition required for
each course, if a course is offered on an intensive basis.
Multi-subject courses may be provided on a part-time basis or by following gradually completing a
relevant and appropriate number of Single Subject Diplomas ( SSDs ).

SINGLE SUBJECT DIPLOMAS ( SSDs )
Each SSD is 45 or 60 hours of classroom tuition depending on
the level and/or content of study. Please refer to the list of
SSDs to determine the amount of tuition hours that apply.

Guidance Notes:
(i) Diploma Courses are normally provided over one academic year if
provided on an intensive full-time tuition basis, but Centres may choose to
take up to two academic years.
(ii) Intermediate Diplomas are usually provided over an average of 15 weeks
(one Semester).
(iii) Executive Diplomas – are best provided over one academic year but may
be possible within 6 months of intensive tuition.
